As our population ages the need for a safe and accessible shower has never been greater, especially for individuals with mobility issues, with walkers and in wheel chairs. Watertech’s new Zero clearance shower base is designed to allow a wheel chair to roll into the shower and can be easily installed whether you are building a new home or remodeling an existing bathroom. The pan’s 1½” threshold is reduced to ½” or less with the installation of ¾” cement under-layment, adhesive and tile. The shower base is made of Lucite acrylic which is non-porous, easy to clean, scratch resistant, and extremely durable. The base has an integral trench drain and cover that is level with the bases floor. The removable trench cover is available in: Bone, White, and Brushed Nickel. If a shower pan is ordered with a whirlpool bath, there is no shipping charge on the shower base. Specification Sheet PDF Format
